What We Caught
This was a pretty good
day. We put 5 very nice hatchery fish in
the box and release another 4 wild fish with several other small fish in the
mix. The bite was pretty steady all day
and made for a very nice trip with the kids.
Where We Fished
The whether was pretty nice so we went straight out to buoy #10 and setup on the incoming tide. The fish started to come in soon after we had our lines down. We hung out there for about 3 hours and after getting 4 fish in the box, we moved in to fish the red and green line at buoy #27. We finished out the day there, wrapping up around 2:00. Got 1 more hatchery fish, released a few more wild adult fish and released a lot of jack size fish.
How We Fished
We were getting the fish at buoy #10 at 19 to 22 pulls. I was fishing 3 rods, 1 at 19 pulls, 1 at 22 pulls and 1 at 26 pulls. All fish were caught on small fresh hearing.
What We Saw and Learned
Boy, what a difference a day
makes down there. I chatted with my
neighbors at the camp ground and they reported a very good day as well. They focused on the river around the Megler bridge, just below and maybe above. They did not get specific as to where they
were at. They saw a very good spinner
bite but where using blue label frozen hearing that they had brined,
